2022 New CTE STEM Teacher Training
New STEM CTE Teacher
Summer Training
Required training by the Tennessee Department of Education for new CTE educators teaching STEM Programs of Study:
STEM Explorers, STEM Innovators, STEM Career Exploration,
BioSTEM, Engineering and Technology, and Advanced STEM Applications.

The open window for the training is June 1, 2022 - August 31, 2022.
Who can register?
This program is open to new 6-12 STEM CTE educators, brand new teachers OR teachers that are transferring into the CTE STEM programs of study.
When does the registration open and close?
Registration typically opens and closes in the early summer. Registration for 2022 will open early summer 2022.
Do I have to be from a STEM School to participate?
Participants do not have to be from a STEM school or have a STEM program already in place to participate in the training.
Is there a cost to participate in the New STEM CTE Teacher Summer training?
The New STEM CTE Teacher Summer training is offered at no cost to participants.
