We offer a wide range of supports, resources, and opportunities to meet every need.
Our Professional Development Learning series is designed for faculties of all sizes and grade levels K-12.
As your faculty and staff continue to grow and change, we want to bring you professional development opportunities that meet your needs in quality and time. We recognize that our capacity to offer in-person training has changed.
To support as many schools as possible, we have developed online courses that replace our in-person trainings, but still offer the same content. These courses are hosted on the online platform Articulate. The courses are web-based and combine short videos with thoughtfully designed activities to allow school leaders and coaches as they work with PLCs or other staff groups.
Each video section is timed to be easily incorporated into an average PLC planning time. Each course, which is broken into sections, can be completed within 6-8 hours total.
The next course to be released is on the topic of building school STEM culture. It will be available in 2025.
Course Descriptions
Community Partnerships
From classrooms to local break rooms and boardrooms, this course will show you how to capture synergy by going outside your school walls to engage stakeholders.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify ways community partners may support your school vision.
- Explore ideas for introducing your school and its mission to the community.
- Capture next steps and longer-term benefits of partnership roles.
Designing Quality Student Engagement
In this course, participants will examine each aspect of Design Thinking, the Engineering Design Process, and Project/Problem-Based Learning. Participants will work through engaging activities that reinforce each of these processes, providing a solid foundation for applying these processes into instruction.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Develop standards-based learning experiences to reinforce tested course content.
- Explore and collaborate with colleagues the opportunities in multi-disciplinary PBLs.

These courses are designed to be completed as learning teams, groups or whole staff.
The “point person” needs to have the names of all teachers who will participate and their email addresses to complete the registration form.
