TSIN Launches 2024-25 Innovative Leaders Institute to Empower Future STEM Education Leaders in Tennessee
The Tennessee STEM Innovation Network (TSIN), a public/private partnership between the Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE) and Battelle Education, is thrilled to announce the launch of the 2024-25 Innovative Leaders Institute, a premier leadership development program designed to equip administrative teams with the tools, knowledge, and network necessary to transform STEM education across Tennessee.
This year’s cohort, composed of educational leaders and administrators from across the state, will embark on a journey of intensive leadership training focused on fostering a STEM culture and advancing computer science learning in our schools. Through a series of workshops, mentoring sessions, and collaborative projects, participants will gain the skills needed to drive innovative teaching practices, create inclusive learning environments, and inspire students to pursue careers in STEM fields.
Impacting STEM Education and Leadership
The Innovative Leaders Institute has a proven track record of cultivating leaders who not only excel in their schools but also contribute to statewide efforts to enhance STEM education. Alumni of the program have successfully implemented cutting-edge STEM curricula, increased student engagement in science and technology, and strengthened partnerships with local industries. The 2024-25 cohort is poised to build on this legacy, leading initiatives that will shape the future of STEM education in Tennessee.
Goals and Aspirations for the 2024-25 Cohort
As this year’s program launches, TSIN is excited to see how this cohort will leverage their training to enact meaningful change in their schools and communities. Goals for this group are ambitious:
The impact of their work will resonate far beyond the classroom, influencing the trajectory of STEM education and preparing students for success in an increasingly technology-driven world.
Thank you to the Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE) for their unwavering support of the Innovative Leaders Institute. Their commitment to advancing STEM education and leadership development in Tennessee has been instrumental in the success of this program. Together, we are creating a brighter future for our students and ensuring that Tennessee remains at the forefront of STEM education in the nation.
The 2024-25 Innovative Leaders Institute represents a critical step toward our vision of a future where every student in Tennessee has the opportunity to thrive in STEM. We look forward to witnessing the incredible work this cohort will achieve and the lasting impact they will have on our state’s educational landscape.
