Professional Development Grants

Bridging the gaps to professional learning

Through a generous donation from the Tennessee Department of Education, there will be a one time funding for Professional Development Grants available to Tennessee Educators in an effort to bridge the gaps to high quality professional learning. The program will close June 30, 2023.

The Tennessee STEM Innovation Network Travel Grant Program supports educators interested in attending professional learning program and student-centered events delivered by TSIN as well as other STEM and Computer Science related learning opportunities. The aim of this grant program is to assist educators with travel and/or lodging costs associated with these events.

Award amount

The amount awarded varies based on the program the applicant is planning on attending.  For professional learning programs, the award amount is estimated to be $150 per day.

If there is a program that you would like to attend that is not listed, propose the event and how it relates to STEM and computer science education. Applications must be received a minimum of 8 weeks in advance of the program or event, as applications are reviewed in a 4-week review cycle.
