Two committees are being formed to work with Computer Science Standards. These two committees a will be comprised of educators from across the state from a variety off schools. Educators who are interested in being a part of either committee should apply by April 5, 2022. Stipends will be paid to accepted applicants for the completion of their committee work.

The first meeting for these committees will occur May 10, 2022 in Nashville. Following that, there will be 2 check-in sessions and a final meeting in August to finalize the work.

Your active involvement ensures the K8 CS standards are informed by educators and content experts who know our students, our standards, and what is needed to set each student up for future success. 

CS Standards K-8 Committee

This committee will collaborate to revise the current Grades K-8 Computer Science Standards.

CS Standards 9-12 Committee

This committee will collaborate to create Computer Science Standards for grade levels 9-12.
