Join us for the 2017 Tennessee STEM Innovation Summit May 24-25, in Mufreesboro, Tennessee. This year’s conference will build upon themes that provide attendees with a broad range of strategies that support STEM practices designed to raise student interest and achievement in STEM education. Interactive learning sessions have been categorized into five tracks: School Culture, Community Partnerships, Innovative Instructional Strategies, STEM Career Awareness, and Technology in Education. The conference sessions will build upon these themes while focusing on the foundations of STEM education. You can find more information on each of the learning sessions here.
School Culture: A school culture is intangible, but it’s essential. This track will explore strategies for creating a shared sense of purpose and value, instructional norms of continuous learning and improvement, and collaborative relationships that drive a STEM school culture.

Using Science Bits Curriculum to Support Three-Dimensional Learning
STEM Career Awareness: Mastering the skills necessary for the jobs of the future is essential in preparing students for the future. In this track, the employability skills students must possess to be successful are identified along with practices to promote post-secondary success.
