TSIN and TDOE Partner for Code.org Professional Learning Programs

The Tennessee STEM Innovation Network (TSIN) is partnering with the Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE) as co-regional partners for Code.org’s Professional Learning Programs . As Code.org regional partners, TSIN and TDOE will provide professional development for approved Code.org curricula through a one-year professional development program.

The Code.org professional development program supports efforts to expand access to computer science in K-12 schools. For the 2019-20 school year, over 25 Tennessee middle schools are participating in the Computer Science Discoveries program, and over 30 Tennessee high schools are participating in the Computer Science Principles program.
